We are delighted to announce Bloodtated: The Scarlet Commitment, a brand new RPG of 2 2.5D lateral scrolling action. Generated by the creative director Shutaro and produced by IGA, this duo is renowned for the creation of games which are famous for their action game of lateral 2D exploration style.
Located in the emblematic Gothic world created for blood: Ritual of the Night, this new episode of the blood stained with blood brings the rich gameplay and the narration of its predecessor to all new peaks!
The story begins in the 16th century when the ethereal castle and its demonic inhabitants terrorized the earth and thrown waste from all those who challenge their dark power. All attempts to destroy the castle and fight demons failed, leaving many noble warriors defeated and lost.
The last hope of humanity is an improbable duo: Leonard, a young apprentice from the Wolves Black Wolves, and Alexander, a knight and the last survivor of white stags. Together, they must work as one to infiltrate the castle, fight for survival, acquire powerful artifacts and defeat the Lord Elias demon.
The duo's cause will not be easy. Elias is protected by six bloodthirsty, deadly vampires that each exercise powerful and unique capacities.
If Leo and Alex have the hope of defeating Elias, they must first unravel the mysteries of the ethereal castle and defeat his powerful defenders.
A world rich in beautiful darkness
The scarlet engagement game is the ethereal castle, the largest and deadliest map stained with blood to date. The castle is a massive structure crisscrosing with luxurious Gothic rooms, dark caves and fatal traps. Like thorns on a beautiful rose, these new stages of beautiful steps contain vicious traps and fatal enemies.
Receiving the mysteries of the Château d'Elias and defeating the bloodthirsty requires a cunning and a bravery … and a regular supply of health potions.
Exploration is a brand of blood brand and in scarlet engagement, exploration will reward you with powerful relics and resources.
Collect ingredients, wear upgrades, discover magic capacities and discover powerful weapons, armor and enchantments that Leo and Alex will have to come out victorious.
You can equip Leo and Alex with armor, weapons and equipment that you acquire while playing. Each piece of armor and portable game clothes will have its own statistics and appearance unique.
In addition to discovering useful elements and resources, you will meet a distribution of fascinating characters that are part of the blood tradition. From honorable allies to fatal enemies, each interaction has been completely scripted and recorded by voices in English and Japanese.
The power of two
Each game needs a hero and because the enemies of the ethereal castle are so great, we realized that this mission can only be accomplished by the combined force of two souls linked by fate. As such, you will have control of the two main characters in the game at the same time.
One will be under your direct control, while your companion helps in combat. You can switch between the two at the pressure of a button.
This new style of play with two heroes is a central element of scarlet engagement. The control of the system will be essential to the success of Leo and Alex.
