A few hours ago the presence of a Life is Strange title on Steam was leaked for a few seconds, the product was withdrawn immediately but the internet had already shared the first images. Luckily, just a couple of hours later the Square Enix presentation arrived in which revealed this game officially and many more.
Life is Strange aims to offer a continuous gameplay compared to the previous ones, that is, cinematics in the style of a constant film. The decisions we make in these cinematics and other gameplay phases will decide the future of the characters and we can use our powers to change the course of events.
Supernatural powers
If Max could control time, Alex has a special relationship with emotions, the new protagonist can detect what everyone around her feels and, if she concentrates, she can even know why they feel the way they feel. These powers will come in handy to solve the problems of what seems like everyday life in a very rural North American town.
We do not recommend watching the trailer if you want to avoid many revelations, within seconds of starting there is a great reveal of the plot that perhaps Deck Nine should have saved. In any case, if you liked the previous ones, it is most likely that this one too.
On the other hand, the Ultimate Edition, which can already be pre-purchased on various platforms, includes Life is Strange and Life is Strange: Before the Storm, the first two installments in their remastered edition. These are not yet dated but would come with better animations and graphics.
Life is Strange: True Colors is coming September 10 to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S, PC, and Google Stadia. You can watch the trailer below if you don’t mind spoilers.
