Twitch announced a few weeks ago that the price of subscriptions would drop in several territories, one of the most affected (positively) has been Latin America with subscriptions that cost less than two dollars. However, on the other side we have the streamers who will now receive less money due to this measure.
Luckily Twitch today has detailed how you will assist streamers affected by this measure. The aid will be with money and directly to the accounts that you have associated, although there are certain conditions that must be met.
Eligibility conditions
It must be assumed that all streamers have an average of hours transmitted each month. Those who aspire to receive help from Twitch will need to stream at least 85% of this average to be eligible. In addition, this base must exceed 5 hours per month and must not exceed 200.
Of course, the aid will decrease every three months. The first three months Twitch will complete the money you lack for the new subscriptions to 100%, then it will be only 75%, then 50% and at the end 25% until one year after the new measures. In all that time, the content creator must continue to broadcast 85% of their monthly hours to be eligible.
Likewise, streamers who have doubts about being eligible can check “Channel Analytisc” and check the “Creator Revenue Adjustment Incentive” item. There they will be able to review all the details of their channel and what they need to do to receive this compensation that will not extend beyond the first year.
