Sweden-based developer Hadoque unveiled their debut psychedelic delight, ULTROS, during the PlayStation Showcase yesterday. A mystical, action-packed, loop-based adventure brought to life by a mesmerizing soundtrack and otherworldly artwork by world-renowned artist El Huervo (Hotline Miami series), ULTROS, launches as a PlayStation console exclusive and on PC (via Steam) in 2024.
ULTROS throws players into a lush Metroidvania-style alien landscape teeming with life. Explore the cosmic mysteries that lurk within the world of The Sarcophagus to discover brutal and bloodthirsty life forms alongside a vast verdure of exotic flora. Slash monstrous creatures in daring sword-based combat and cultivate a teeming green web. In this world, death does not mean the end, as the strange powers of The Sarcophagus and the demonic being that resides within will send players into a time loop upon their disappearance.
