Developer Cyanide Studio shows off new gameplay for Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood, the latest game in the realm of World of Darkness.
Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood is an action role-playing game set in the world of darkness that will be released in just a couple of months. And while a spooky trailer for Werewolf: The Apocalypse was shown over the summer, the developer has just released an extensive gameplay immersion that showcases much of what the title has to offer.
Players take control of a werewolf named Cahal in Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood. The game will launch on many platforms when it launches on February 4, 2021, but the fact that Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood is coming to Xbox Series X / S and PS5 is part of what m akes it an intriguing title.
In the mission shown with this first game skin, Cahal is tasked with sabotaging an oil company that is destroying the environment. The footage shows the visceral strikes with powerful and interesting combat in the form of a werewolf, but also reconnaissance and stealth in the form of a wolf. Julien “Patch” Desourteaux, Werewolf: The Apocalypse, Game Director Earthblood, explains each element in the six-minute game display, which highlights elements of RPG, exploration, stealth, and over-the-top action with supernatural and otherworldly elements. The world of darkness is expanding and Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood is the latest addition.
There are quite a few interesting games in the realm of World of Darkness, including those of Vampire: The Masquerade and even a battle royale set in the world of Vampire: The Masquerade. French developer Cyanide Studio is known for titles like Styx: Shards of Darkness, Call of Cthulhu, and Blood Bowl 3.
Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood will release on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X on February 4, 2021.
