This is when the rumors start. The first chapters of ‘Kimetsu no Yaiba: Yuukaku-hen’ could be a summary of the events of ‘Kimetsu no Yaiba Movie: Mugen Ressha-hen’.
Although the world of anime has expanded its horizons, it is difficult to find pieces today that reach the global popularity of works that have been on the market for decades like ‘One Piece’ or ‘Naruto’ and yet here we have ‘Kimetsu no Yaiba ‘.
The phenomenon that since 2019 has been embedded in pop culture, to the level of being referenced by politicians in Japan and athletes in the Olympics, it is difficult to see that there is still someone without enjoying the adventures created by Koyoharu Gotoge.
Even so, everything seems to indicate that Ufotable does not agree, since through the SPY account, it was leaked that the first episodes of its second season will be a summary of the highest grossing film in Japan.
The record-breaking film that caused a stir at its premiere on the PlayStation Store in the West, could comprise 5 to 8 episodes of what is believed to be 24 chapters in total of ‘Kimetsu no Yaiba: Yuukaku-hen’.
“The first arc of Kimetsu s2 will cover the train part, but not the entire first part! It can also be 5 to 8 episodes with good quality and more details! Don’t lose hope ✨ “
Although it is difficult to believe that any fan has missed the film or that at this point they are not aware that the series is a continuation of it, the truth is that the Ufotable team might believe that it is necessary.
If so, it would explain the studio’s reluctance to show previews of the red light district arc in the latest teasers, where hopefully the main villain and the protagonists appear with moving backgrounds.
What do you think? Do you think a summary of ‘Kimetsu no Yaiba Movie: Mugen Ressha-hen’ in the second season is necessary? Tell us in the comments.
