The changes that tank characters will have in Overwatch 2 son:
- Tank passive will reduce headshot damage by 25%
- Tank recoil resistance will increase from 30% to 50%

- The health regeneration passive for all heroes will no longer be 20 health points per second out of combat. It will now be 10 health + 5% of your maximum hit points per second
- Junker Queen’s Dominating Scream will activate even if other abilities are being channeled, and its cooldown will be 12 seconds.
- The impact damage of a fully charged hit from Wrecking Ball with Mechanical Claw will be increased from 50 to 60. Piledriver will increase the enemy’s movement block from 0.5 seconds to 0.75 seconds, Minefield’s damage will be increased from 130 to 165, and knockback will be increased from 5 to 10 meters.
