Overwatch Surprise Updated With Multiple Performance Modes Focused On Next Generation Xbox Series X Consoles | S
Snow storm recently released a new update for your shooter by teams Overwatch. Patch 1.58 is now available for all platforms, you can see its notes from this link. Which includes an update for the new consoles of Microsoft, improve its performance and graphics quality
Thanks to the new patch Overwatch Xbox Series X users | S will be able to choose between three different graphics settings. Among which stands out a means of 120 frames per second for users who have a television in their home that supports this refresh rate. Here are the three modes available with the new update of Overwatch.
- Resolution : This mode gives priority to high resolution at the expense of image quality (X Series: 4K @ 60Hz, S Series: 1440p @ 60Hz)
- Balanced : Mode that puts image quality before resolution (X Series: 1440p @ 60Hz, S Series: 1080p @ 60Hz)
- Framerate : A mode that gives priority to a framerate at 120 fps, sacrificing image resolution and quality (X Series: 1440p @ 120Hz, S Series: 1080p @ 120Hz)
- NOTE: You need a TV that supports 120Hz or VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) to enjoy Framerate mode.
Good news to replay Overwatch at its best while waiting for its long-awaited sequel to arrive. This Next Generation Console Upgrade is Exclusive to Xbox Series X | S, other platforms like the PS5 will have to wait a little longer for these improvements to arrive.
