This week it’s update time again for all three current Call of Duty games. Season 2 Reloaded is packed with new content, but also with optimizations and improvements.
For Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, Season 2 Reloaded has already been planed, Warzone is today with an update. First of all, some good news is that the update will reduce the installation sizes of Warzone and Modern Warfare. That can’t hurt, as the games are massive memory hogs. Warzone should be 14.2 GB smaller, the package of Modern Warfare and Warzone even 33.6 GB – with slight fluctuations depending on the platform.
Still, there is quite a bit of new content. With Miami Strike (6vs6) and Mansion (2vs2, 3vs3) two new maps come into play, whereby Miami Strike is a revision of the well-known and hated map Miami. The Golova map, which was previously only available in Outbreak, is now also available for other team modes. With Multi-Team Hardpoint a new mode comes into play, in which ten teams of four men each fight for certain “hardpoints” on the maps.
Outbreak is expanded to include the Ural Mountains and the sanatorium, plus a new secure lens. In it you have to summon and defend essence conversion modules in order to make items for battle. With the dirt bike, there is also a new vehicle.
With the ZRG 20 mm, a new sniper comes into play, which you can get through challenges or with the Jackpot Sniper Bundle. Two new operators also dare to fight, namely Wolf at the beginning and Rivas during the season. Both can be purchased through store bundles.
You can find more details about the Season 2 Reloaded Update on the official Call of Duty blog. Oh, and of course there is also a trailer as an appetizer:
