Facebook is testing a new feature for WhatsApp. It is neither more nor less than the automatic suggestion of stickers according to the text we wrote. The information they collect in WABetaInfo and where they show us, still talking about a beta, how the system will work.
Gradually adding some details
Note that Facebook is testing and developing this feature internally. This means that while we hope that it will reach a final version of WhatsApp, we are not able to say that it will or will do as we can see in this preview. What we do know is that the system is test on iOS and Android
WhatsApp is developing a feature that allows you to quickly search for stickers. The function will analyze the first word written in the chat bar, and if it matches a sticker saved in your sticker library, a suggestion will be displayed.
As we can see in the following video, the button of the stickers will change its appearance if there is a difference, prompting us to touch it to see it again. It should be noted that this feature is only available for official WhatsApp sticker packs. The stickers that we were able to create or those of third parties are not supported
It is clear that Facebook wants to gain market share for WhatsApp. Adding features like this can, to some extent, serve as a claim. It should be remembered that although the use of WhatsApp is widespread in Europe, in countries like the United States it is in the shadow of iMessage or other alternatives.
