Hades is considered a masterpiece by many players, including us. The action role-playing game full of Greek mythology turns Achilles, Sisyphos and Co. into interesting supporting characters in a plot about the son of the underworld who wants to escape his fate.
A number of influencers now want to open up a new (old) look at the template. Under the Iliad project, the developers are now even gathering to realize a special project: To set the ancient epic »The Iliad« to music on Twitch and Youtube.
A gigantic project
The group from Hades fans to streamer »Wriste13« wants to read the complete Iliad. First starts on June 20th at 11:59 pm Twitch-Stream. Then the project should go to Youtube uploaded and also become available on streaming platforms such as Spotify.
The project has been running for almost six months and brings together dozens of readers, technical supporters and fans. The English translation of the Iliad by Robert Fagles will be read out. The Iliad is considered very difficult to read, which makes the project particularly challenging.
Even a developer became aware of the project and is now on board. Creative Director Greg Kasavin of Supergiant Games agreed to read an introduction.
So if you are not yet familiar with the basis of many of the narratives we encountered in Hades or God of War, the Iliad Project is a new opportunity. The Iliad is an ancient collection of stories and is considered one of the oldest works of European literature. Among other things, it deals with the Trojan War.
