Ubisoft has revealed next patch notes that Rainbow Six Siege will receive. The title was released to Thunderbird, a new carrier, less than a month ago and the developers already have two corrective patches since then. This only comes to adjust the balance of the characters and to correct a visual bug.
However, it has caught the attention of players as Zofia has been severely nerfed, her weapon now has a more pronounced ricochet effect making it more difficult to aim. Another big change is Tachanka, but for the better.
Balance changes
The patch will go into effect this afternoon on the test server and in a few weeks on the game servers as such. So for now we can play with Zofia and take advantage of what the developers believe is very powerful.
The most notorious changes are those of Zofia who, in addition to the rebound effector, will see how it is more difficult to aim after the eighth shot in a row. For his part, Tachanka now has a shield ( he loses the alarm), he will have more ammunition in his grenade launcher and he will see improved the damage of his bullets.
Lastly, it was reported that the balance changes for Nøkk have been put on hold due to what the developers have seen in the gameplay of the test servers.
In addition, as a curiosity they have shared the popularity of operators in the Platinum ranges onwards. For example, the most banned operator when it comes to defending is Thatcher, while the most banned when it comes to attack is Mira. You can see all the changes of the next patch in this link, as well as the popularity images of each operator.
