Jeter: The far coast still looks interesting.
One of the surprises of Thursday’s game status live broadcast is Jeter: Far Shore, A new game from Sword & Sworcery’s Superbrothers.
Jett: The Far Shore debuted in different game states a year ago, but this week’s trailer brings us the most detailed gameplay yet. The game records the process of interstellar civilization finding a new home.
You play as a pilot scientist who is asked to explore the planet, looking for the signals that brought your people there in the first place. Unlike most space games, exploration is the main mechanic of Jett: The Far Shore. The challenge is that you need to scout the landscape and classify what you encounter without fighting the native flora and fauna.
Although the purpose is not to disturb local life, sometimes you need to rely on environmental hazards or trigger natural phenomena to protect yourself. The action is divided into Jett driving and first person part, you can land and explore the world more closely.
Jett: Far Shore has no release date yet, but it will land on PC, PS4 and PS5 sometime this year.
