Disney XD has the world in shock at the possibility of the premiere of a series based on the popular and successful online game, ‘Among Us’. According to a recently posted tweet, the show will arrive in October.
The Among Us game was officially launched in 2018, but it was not until last year, and the hours of confinement and distancing, that it reached its popularity, becoming part of the popular culture of the pandemic, inspiring even costumes for Halloween.
Rumors seem to indicate that although we will not have a sequel to the game, they are working on improving the existing game, and now, is Disney planning to release an animated series? The Disney XD post has been retweeted over 10,000 times, thus far, and has led to many game fans watching for announcements from the mouse company’s subsidiary.
However, and this is where we apologize for the clickbait, reports have revealed that the tweet is not real, as it was posted by a Disney XD parody account, and is in no way related to the real company.
The official user of the Disney affiliate is @DisneyXD, while that of this “impostor” is @DXDisneyDX. While we believe that you should receive some consequence for impersonating a mouse company property, so far it has all been a bad joke.
A few were able to identify this user’s trap, and others were crying out for it all to be a bad joke. Of course, that the game is a success does not mean that an animated series can mean something positive.
Those who know the limits of Disney will understand why it would be illogical for the company to work and authorize a production focused on dolls that kill others. But, if anyone was left with the desire, you just have to cross your fingers so that the update of the game is a reality, and it is released sooner rather than later.
