A week after its launch, Age of Empires IV players have some feedback that is worth checking out. While Leaderboards

start to stand here and there the German side GameStar has opted for a more direct approach by organizing a poll of their readers to find out their favorite faction of Age of Empires IV. The answer is not surprising, given the advance preferences, but it is nonetheless a crushing victory for the chosen faction.

The poll has spoken, and with almost half of the votes (49%) the time has come the Holy Roman Empire won the title of GameStar Readers’ Favorite Group

, followed by the English with 16% of the vote, followed by the Russians with 9% of the vote. The remaining parliamentary groups received between 7 and 3% of the vote, with the Sultanate of Delhi at the very back of the pack.

So the preference is clear and the editors at GameStar wondered what makes the Holy Roman Empire so special. We have derived the following from their explanations:

• This faction has powerful infantry units which allow you to repel enemies using various defense techniques.
• Allow his prelates increase the performance of the villagers but also from Heal infantry units. Thanks to them, the Holy Roman Empire can quickly recover from an attack.
• The structures are difficult to destroy and their already great durability can be improved over time.
• Once enough relics have been collected, Bonus armor and damage connected make the Holy Roman Empire impenetrable.
