The issue of missing material in Destiny 2 has been fixed and the game is back online.
yesterday Destiny 2 There was a problem with the 2.7.1 patch version. Soon after the patch was released, players began to report a large number of missing materials, including shimmer, injected materials, bright dust, and more.
Bungie quickly took the game offline and worked on creating a fix. For a long time, Destiny 2 was unplayable. About four hours ago, the Destiny 2 server was finally back online.
The good news is that players do n’t have to download updates to play, but the bad news is that some elements will be lost. All character data has been rolled back to a backup made at 8:30 AM EST, 11:30 AM EST, 4:30 PM UK, Shortly after the patch was released.
Although this recovers all lost material, it also means that progress made before the server was taken offline is lost. In other words, if you jump in immediately after downloading the patch, it will reset to the state it was in when the patch was released. This applies to all activities and character development in Destiny 2.
If you purchased items in this window using Silver or Bright Dust, these items will be returned and you must purchase the desired item again. The only thing that won't be affected is the silver you bought in the Steam / PS Store / Xbox Store.
Now that you're back online, be sure to check out our guide on how to get the Bastion Exotic Fusion Rifle and the "Savior of the Past" badge-both of which are important parts of this season's content.
