Next Big Story Reveal for Final Fantasy 14 Expected February 2022
Producer of Final Fantasy XIV Naoki Yoshida has previously stated we would be getting more details of the next story reveal in spring 2022, in a recent interview on the Japanese radio show Radio Mog Station, Yoshi-P shared that the next chapter for the game’s story will have a reveal in February, with “some drastic changes that’ll surprise you” according to a fan translation.
Yoshi-P says in the Radio Mog Station show that there will be quite a lot of info that will be dumped on us near the end of February that will lead up to 7.0. There might be some drastic changes that’ll surprise you.

Final Fantasy XIV has a major year last year, not only gaining a number of new players but the release of the latest expansion Endwalker. The game has become so popular that the developer had to temporarily stop selling the base game and offering free trials in order to handle the long queues the player base was facing. The suspension is still ongoing until the server problem can be fixed. Current players can still purchase upgrades and the expansion Endwalker. Currently subscribed players were given free playtime for their patience.
