Gotham Knights would not see the light in Russia

Russia’s invasion of Ukraine continues to have quite unexpected consequences even in the realm of video games. According some sources, Warner Bros. reportedly decided to withdraw Gotham Knights from the Russian market and its allied territories from sale. The game was originally supposed to include Russian subtitles and voices, which ultimately did not make it to the final version of the title.

To validate this theory, a few days ago, the Russian site of Gotham Knights was accessible on archive.org, but now the page displays a error message.

The Russian version will not be the only one not to see the light of day, since in the presentation of the last gameplay

It has also been confirmed that the Xbox One and PS4 editions will unfortunately not be in the game. If it turns out that Russia will not be included in Warner Bros. distribution plans, the company will become a new entity for join the international effort, from its own place, against the country of Vladimir Putin.

The title, despite the delays, will hit stores in October this year and will give us the opportunity to face a fight for Gotham with Red Hood, Nightwing, Robin and Batgirl, in a story that begins with the apparent death of the Batman himself.
