The next game from the creators of XCOM, Marvel’s Midnight Suns, just suffered another delay that could last. But that’s not all, as there’s bad news for the PS4, Xbox One, and Switch versions.
Before we see Doctor Strange, Iron Man and Captain America and all the other superheroes at work in Marvel’s Midnight Suns, we’ll have to be patient! 2K Games has delayed the release on New Generation and PC by a few months. The PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch versions are even worse…
Marvel’s Midnight Suns is slated for release in early 2023
In a press release, Studio Firaxis (XCOM, Civilization VI) announces the new delay of Marvel’s Midnight Suns. An inevitable decision to make sure we deliver “the best possible fan experience”. And it therefore requires a postponement of a few months if all goes well.
Teams plan to be ready for this fiscal year, what would give a release by March 2023… on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC
We have an important update to share regarding our release date for Marvel’s Midnight Suns. After consultation with the team We’ve made the decision to delay the game’s release date to ensure we’re giving our fans the best possible experience. We’ll be releasing it later this fiscal year on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PS5, as well as Xbox One, PS4, and Nintendo Switch versions at a later date.
We know our fans can’t wait to play it, and we’ll use this extra time to make sure we’re giving everyone the best possible experience. Midnight Suns is by far the biggest game we’ve ever made, and we really appreciate all the support players have shown over the years.
This tactical RPG set in the Marvel Universe was postponed last year. Hope it’s the right one this time!
