Alien: Dark Descent gets a brief first-ever alien-filled gameplay

Upcoming Tactical Squad Action Game Alien: Darksiders It showed off its first gameplay at D23’s Disney and Marvel Games Show.

Alien: Darksiders, which debuted in June, is a new single-player action game set to release in 2023. Tindalos Interactive and Focus Entertainment, but didn’t show any gameplay at the time. Now, albeit briefly, we’ve got our first look at the squad-based shooter.

The trailer shows the top-down game in action, and you’re leading your Marines on a mission as you infiltrate and investigate the Xenomorph outbreak. Develop your tactics, form your colonial marines, and fight against the Xenomorph horde .”

It looks like you’ll have an array of weapons and tools at your disposal as you get a bird’s-eye view of the situation, have to take care of your squad, and keep an eye out for any Xenomorphs that may come to mind.

Last month, iGamesNews had the opportunity to experience a 30-minute demo and found it to be more than just an XCOM clone, but very faithful to the movie.

“Hands off the demo is obviously not as useful as starting to play it, but from the half-hour game on we’ll be blushing,” our assistant editor Alex Donaldson wrote. “Alien: The Dark Descent looks like Great. It’s also a different experience based on aliens – less of the creepy horror of the first movie and more of the intense action of the second. Aliens are tough, but you’re still there Knock them down relatively large numbers – in fact, arguably you’re most concerned about being overspend.”

Tasks also sound like they have fairly long running time ranges, some as long as 20 minutes, some lasting an hour, with a variety of difficulties to match, the longer usually the harder.
