- Fan favorite Tilly can also be seen again in the trailer.
A first trailer for “Star Trek: Discovery” Season 5 fuels anticipation for the new episodes, although no start date has been set yet. There are all sorts of moody moments, plenty of action, familiar faces and the return of fan favorite Sylvia Tilly, portrayed by Mary Wiseman.
In a way, Tilly left the series in the fourth season and was only a guest role in the end. It’s nice to see her again in the trailer. Will she be starring again in Star Trek: Discovery? It remains to be seen!
There are also three new characters appearing in the new episodes: Starfleet Officer Rayner, portrayed by Callum Keith Rennie, and the outlaws, L’ak and Moll, portrayed by Elias Toufexis and Eve Harlow.
We’ll find out how the new characters will integrate when the new “Star Trek” release appears on the Paramount+ streaming service next year. What’s the best way to prepare for the new episodes with a marathon? We deliver you the right “Star Trek” order!
In addition to the trailer for “Star Trek: Discovery” Season 5, a new trailer for “Star Trek: Picard” Season 3 has also been released!
