It is here that the Parkour upgraded really shines, providing a fast and completely fun way to navigate the environment.
Combat is equally satisfying with an ever-growing roster of melee weapons, customizable using the scrap you pick up as you explore. Do you want a hammer that breathes fire and knocks enemies on impact? Dying Light 2 has it.
The story is more engaging than ever, with more player decisions than I’ve seen in a game in a long time, and these can impact the overall story, so you better watch out.
The only downside is that there are large areas of the map (which can be seen with binoculars on tall buildings) that are inaccessible at launch, in the form of paid DLC later. The first, titled Bloody Ties, is coming to consoles and PC in October.
