She led by a landslide, followed by Winston as the most popular character, with only 6.7% of the top 30 players picking Gorilla and 3.3% picking D.Va in third place.
The study also found that 100% of the top 30 players have Zarya in the first three characters, so it’s safe to say that she’s one of the best tanks in the game, if not the best out there.
Damage characters are also very uneven, as 70% of players have Sojourn as their first main force, while 90% of players have her in the top three. Genji is also popular as a damage character, with 73.3% of the top 30 players placing the ninja in their top three.
In a world where supporting characters are underrated, things are more balanced. Ana and Lúcio each accounted for 36.7% of the first place on the main list, although the former was the more popular character overall, with 80% of the top 30 players placing her in the top 3.
