Grounded is Game of the Year at the 2022 Golden Joystick Awards

The Obsidian title was considered the best of 2022.

Obsidian Entertainment is having one of the best years in its history. And it showed up again when GamesRadar revealed the winners of the Gold Controller Rewards which they organize every year. A ceremony that asks players to vote for the winners of each category. And it was the co-op survival adventure, Grounded, that found favor with gamers and won the award for “Xbox Game of the Year”.

The title of Obsidian It managed to win over fans when it released its final version a few months ago. Released in early access in 2020, the title officially launched a few months ago after years of development and fan support. Since then, Grounded has become a community favorite, which is quite a feat for a project that started on the sly. with less than twenty developers.
