Crunchyroll has announced the nominees for the 2023 Anime Awards, and the list is largely dominated by a handful of top titles. Attack on Titan final season part 2, Demon Hunter‘s latest season and Cyberpunk: Edgerunner each got 13 nominations while King’s Ranking (Cour 2) took home 15. But all four series were surpassed by an impressive 16 nominations from Spy X family.
These four series were nominated in almost every category they were eligible for, including occupying four of the five Anime of the Year spots. The fifth addition to this prestigious list this year is Lycoris recoilwhich received a total of seven nominations.
Voting for the Anime Awards is open now and lasts until January 25 at 8:00 p.m. ET. The Anime Awards themselves will be held on March 4th, where all the winners will be announced.
