The Computer History Museum held an event on January 31 to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Lisa computer. The event included interviews with members of Lisa’s development team, a demo of Lisa, and even a “one more thing” moment. The museum announced that it had released a video of the event, which can be viewed on YouTube.
Hosted by Katie Hafner, the 100-minute event includes interviews with Lisa’s Software Manager Bruce Daniels, Director of Engineering Wayne Rosing, Graphic Designer Annette Wagner and Market Development Manager Dan’l Lewin. Team members talk about their experience with Lisa’s development, release, and short time in the market. Also, journalist Steve Levy

The event was part of the museum’s 40th birthday celebration of Lisa. Earlier in January, the museum made the source code for the Lisa software available for free download. The event was sponsored by The Verge, which wrote an article about Lisa’s legacy and published a photo collection of Bill Atkinson, who designed and developed Lisa’s GUI.
