How to Get High Albedo in Destiny 2
High Albedo is a Beyond Light weapon. It can be found from a few different sources on Europa.
The simplest is a Variks Weapon Quest. Simply visit Variks on Europa, go to its second page, and select the Europa Sidearm quest. It will cost 30 Herealways Coins, but will give you some simple objectives to complete. Once you’ve done that, return to Variks and he’ll give you the weapon. You can repeat this quest as long as you have the Herealways coins to spare. You can also cancel the quest and repurchase it if you don’t like the randomly assigned objectives.
High Value Target Brigs appear regularly in the Eventide Ruins and Cadmus Ridge sections of Europa. Look for versions of these enemies with an orange health bar and the nickname “Enforcer Brig”. Defeat it and a chest containing a random piece of Beyond Light gear will appear. Finding a high albedo will depend on luck and perseverance. If you’re solo in Eventide Ruins, you may be able to fast travel after defeating a high-value brig in the same area and encountering another.
Finally, there is agricultural sector lost. It’s simple, but extremely dependent on luck. Simply clear a Lost Sector, quickly move away, then come back and clear it again. We recommend Perdition, as it is quite short.
Season of the Seraph is here alongside More Than a Weapon, Seraph Key Codes and Resonate Stems and the addition of Rose in Crucible. You can also complete the Good Boy Protocol secret quest to make a new friend. We also saw a new dungeon, Spire of the Watcher, with a chance of the Hierarchy of Needs dropping at the end. Earlier this year we had the arrival of the King’s Fall and King’s Fall challenges, as well as weapons such as Doom of Chelchis and Touch of Malice. For The Witch Queen, find out how to get Dead Messenger and Parasite.
High Albedo God Scroll Recommendation in Destiny 2
High Albedo fires in a three round burst and functions more like a short range/high velocity pulse rifle. The key is to aim for the center of your target and let the weapon’s natural vertical pull send the last rounds of bursts into heads and other critical areas.
An ideal, or “god roll,” High Albedo deals damage in rapid bursts, finishing enemies off with headshots, and is particularly effective in PVP for jumping or hovering attacks.
here is our Recommended High Albedo god roll in Destiny 2:
- Corkscrew
- Precise rounds
- Fully automatic
- head seeker
By far, a handgun’s biggest weakness is range, and Corkscrew mitigates this somewhat, while slightly improving stability and handling, making it a friendlier weapon to shoot.
Precise rounds further enhances the range of High Albedo. This is important not only for accuracy, but also to mitigate the damage decay as you move away from your target.
Fully automatic can be a somewhat controversial choice. Even with the perks above, High Albedo procs with quite a bit of kick, and other options here can help. Full-Auto is a bigger difference maker though. With this, you can just hold down the trigger and the gun continues to fire. This lets you focus solely on locating your cursor for accurate shots, which is much more important for dealing damage than small stat boosts.
head seeker is the perk that unlocks High Albedo’s true potential. Landing body shots provides a short-term boost to critical hit damage. If you use High Albedo as intended, focusing shots on the central mass and then allowing recoil to aim the cursor at weak spots, this perk is frequently active and extremely deadly, especially against other Guardians in PVP.
As usual, once you have your favorite jet, be sure to upgrade it to a Masterwork to give it a stat boost, the ability to generate orbs on multiple kills, and add the option of a kill tracker!
