Apple recently released an update limited to Apple TV and HomePod, something strange if you take into account that these are operating systems that depend on iOS, since it is the main basis of its firmware. However, apart from this small curiosity, the update did not come without controversy on this occasion.
Thousands of users are reporting connection issues between Apple TV 4K and Siri Remote after updating to tvOS.
The release of tvOS 16.3.1 generates popular discontent among the owners of the Cupertino company’s multimedia center, and it is that many users (including myself), are experiencing numerous connectivity problems between the Siri remote and the Apple TV 4K, to the point of completely blurring the experience to enjoy our multimedia content, regardless of the platform.
These complaints can be seen in Reddit and even the official Apple support site. The problem causes many Siri Remote disconnects, swithout any apparent explanation, and that drives many owners crazy.
These disconnections occur intermittently, and it’s the Siri remote itself that reconnects without any action needed,
At the moment, Apple hasn’t spoken and doesn’t seem to want to either. We imagine that the solution will be a small service update, either of the Apple TV itself, or of the Siri Remote, since we do not know precisely where the problem comes from, something unacceptable for a product of these characteristics.
