A magical world full of discrimination.

To put you in context, late 19th century (when the game takes place), The magic world is doing well, but there must be an episode of revolt on the part of the kobold race. The latter are constantly discriminated ag ainst, they are very gifted in magic, but are not allowed to study it or carry magic wands. They are reduced to the dirty work for humans. During this time, Rannrok (a goblin) decided to launch an ultimate vendetta against humans, enslaving them, avenging his species and changing his rights. For this he will ally himself with Rookwood, a very powerful black magician. Both will try to get their hands on Ancient Magic, an ancient form of magic that is more powerful than average. To do this, they will roam the vast surroundings of Hogwarts with other goblins and dark magicians to find the source of this power. It is precisely in this turbulent time that your character will start his school years at Hogwarts and you will very quickly become involved in all of this. Because this form of ancient magic, well, it’s your character who wields it!

And to stop the goblins’ vendetta, you must find the source of this ancient power before Rannrok. Spring sealed by 4 Guardians many years ago after a villager made excessive use of it. Basically, this power should be used for good, and it worked very well. No one could have foreseen that it would end like this. Therefore, when the ancient magic returns to the hero you are playing, the Wardens will have you pass a series of tests to see if you are worthy of using the source or not. Rookwood and Rannrok are sometimes a step ahead of you, especially because Rookwood knows a lot about this ancient power, being a descendant of one of the 4 Wardens himself. But after playing the game of cat and mouse well, you finally find the source before they do. This ancestral source is located under Hogwarts Castle and once you gain access to it you are faced with a choice: destroy the source or use it. Your choice will determine which ending you get. The good, the bad, and the true ending.

Throughout the adventure you will be accompanied by Professor Fig, your mentor who knows a lot about ancient magic. He makes this story personal as his wife Miriam was killed by Rannrok himself while investigating this power. When you come face to face with the source if you choose not to use the Force and destroy the Source, Fig will be happy about it. This power can do much more harm than good and attract too much lust, especially the Ancient Magick accidentally taking the life of their loved ones. Then one last fight against Rannrok who has taken the form of a dragon, you win and everything is back to normal. That was the good end, a moral end. But if you decide to use the source

, Fig will emphatically inform you of his objection. The same battle against the Dragon of Rannrok then begins, but once it’s over, our character seems to go insane at the overflowing ancient magic. With great difficulty we manage to channel this ancestral power and that is the end. Having seen all that this power might entail, we should not allow ourselves to be tempted. Note that in both cases Professor Fig dies in battle and joins his wife in Heaven.

However, there is still something to do to really complete the game: Hogwarts final exams. No matter what you’ve done with the source of ancient magic, you’ll be treated to a small anthology of cutscenes in many different courses. Before attending the year-end ceremony to find out which house has the most points and thus won the famous Four House Tournament.
