Sony honored Final Fantasy 16 during a State of Play. The publisher is currently focusing its communications on its next major PS5 release, but the exclusivity that all gamers are impatiently waiting for is Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 . Since its announcement in 2021, the continuation of Peter and Miles’ adventures has been very discreet. So much so that Insomniac Games was forced to remember that the game would come out when it was done. According to the latest rumours, this would be the case for a big PlayStation Showcase this summer. In the meantime, due to a lack of official communication, rumors surrounding the exclusive PS5 continue to circulate on the internet. According to videographer HipHopGamer, who had his small reputation for a while, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 could be heavily inspired by a key feature of Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart. According to him, the sequel would delve into the multiverse with both legs together, with the ability to travel between multidimensional worlds on the fly like in the other PS5 exclusive game. “ Also graphically and from a gameplay point of view, it’s the most open and fluid experience you’ll see so far in this generation.
HipHopGamer actually had good information, including Kratos’ arrival in Mortal Kombat 9 (yes, it’s out of date). He also mentioned the then arrival of haptic feedback on the DualSense and even temperature support in early 2020, for which Sony recently filed a patent. The problem is that his credibility is constantly being questioned because of many rumors he spread himself that later turned out to be false. It is therefore 50/50 at this point and we cannot recommend enough that you take these statements with the utmost caution.
