Star Wars Jedi Survivor is being destroyed by players on PC (and a little bit on consoles) because of its tech. Fortunately, EA announces the arrival of an update.
Sometimes updates that are provided for games help fix minor issues. Some even ask to find out to really see what has changed. Others are eagerly awaited by the players. A Star Wars Jedi Survivor update available for PC and consoles
On the EA Star Wars Twitter account, the American publisher announces that an update is available for the PC and console versions Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. The latter, too, although much more enjoyable to play, suffered from some problems.
A hotfix is available today for the PC version of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, and tomorrow (note: May 2nd) we will also be releasing a hotfix for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. We are working hard on fixes that will further improve performance and fix bugs on all platforms. More updates are planned for all platforms and we will let you know about the schedule as soon as it is available.
Specifically, the following is changing on consoles. Rest assured, the fixes also apply to the PC version of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.
- Fixed multiple crashes on PS5 and Xbox Series in multiple areas of the game
- Fixed crashes when skipping cutscenes,
- Improved performance on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S
- Fixed Mantis clothing texture bug
- Fixed rendering issues
- Fixed bug that did not save new colors from Nekko
- Fixed a bug that caused his Nekko to disappear from the stable
- Fixed dialog syncing in cutscenes
- Bug fixes for collisions
- Fixed AI pose in photo mode
- Fixed total game freeze during dialogues with Doma
- Fixed a texture bug in one of BD-1’s customizations
- Fixed the bug where players would get stuck in the Hall of Duality if they died after exiting the room without saving
Player ratings on Steam soon to be positive?
On PC, gaming performance also improves overall without ray tracing. EA and Respawn seem to be aware that this update will not fix all of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor and warns that more will arrive in the coming weeks.
