Android One is one of the most interesting projects for Android enthusiasts, allowing for pure Android versions on phones created by other manufacturers. The project started to get stronger with phones like the Xiaomi Mi A1 or Motorola One, but that lost little of its bearings.

What are the causes? Because this can provide analysis, but there is a case that makes us attractive, and it is error history in major Android One updates.

Already on the Mi A1 we saw how it had problems updating to Android 8.1 and Android 9, while the Mi A2 had problems with its updates, such as Android 10. Later the same happened on the Xiaomi Mi A3, which had to stop the update due to a critical error.

Although we received an official statement on the first question confirming the problem with the first question, we still have no answer to the second question, 7 days after the consultation.
