Epic Games is probably celebrating and breaking out the champagne at the moment as it emerged that the popular free-to-play game hit a record 6.6 million live players yesterday. There were over 2.3 million players playing the recently released LEGO Fortnite game mode alone, which is staggering. The game also saw the introduction of Rocket Racing yesterday, which also helped boost the numbers. Yesterday we saw that the game had the highest number of players since they started tracking them in March 2023. The highest number ever was during a special event day, when 11.6 million players were recorded, not counting.
