As promised, the Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol.1 compilation has released its latest update on other platforms. What new developments are there to report?
Are you one of the people who witnessed the launch of the compilation? Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol.1? If this is the case, we won’t tell you anything by reminding you that it was pretty messy. The technical performance did not meet expectations and Konami had to remedy the situation with numerous updates. A new update has just been rolled out, but it’s special.
What’s special about this patch 1.4.0 is that it was released on PC in December 2023. The problem is that the other platforms still had to be patient. But that’s it, today this update is available for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch. We will therefore remind those who missed the changes made here. After that, don’t expect a completely different Metal Gear Solid compilation.
Most of the additions we see are actually additional features found in the game options. A simple example: You have additional audio settings or advanced settings for your screen. Far be it from us to say that it does not have great benefits, quite the opposite. We never say no to changes like this, and as you will see, there are some. Of course, they affect all games in the Metal Gear Solid compilation. No one was left behind.
