Tom Cruise wants to return to the Danger Zone: Top Gun 3 is finally in development! And if we’re honest, it was actually only a matter of time.
Top Gun: Maverick is a billion-dollar hit!
With Top Gun: Maverick, the sequel to the now 38-year-old action classic became the most successful film of 2022. With a budget of up to 170 million US dollars, the film by director Joseph Kosinski was able to achieve incredible success worldwide grossed over 1.4 billion
Critics and viewers were also full of praise: At Rotten Tomatoes Top Gun: Maverick, for example, barely misses 100 with average scores of 96 and 99 points respectively. At IMDb The action film still gets an impressive 8.3 points, while at Metacritic only results in a 70 rating.

What is already known about Top Gun 3
Established industry insider Matthew Belloni reveals that Top Gun 3 is now being actively worked on Puck-Newsletter – How The Hollywood Reporter reported. And there are actually already the first details about what the third part of the series should look like.
