Last night, World of Warcraft Classic just ushered in the second phase of the Exploration Season, and a team of Capital G players not only reached the highest level, but also cleared the new Gnomeregan raid instance. How long did it take? About 12 hours.
These 12 hours will not only allow you to level up from level 25 to 40 and get some decent gear, but you will also be able to access new raids and clear out all the never-before-seen bosses. The game, a world first, was won by NOVA – a team consisting of five mages, two warlocks, two priests and one shaman.

Early this morning, the group managed to defeat the raid’s final boss – a feat that initially proved challenging and resulted in continued eliminations of the raid. However, things quickly get easier once the party realizes they need to interrupt one of the boss’s more troublesome spells. At this point, a clean killing was quickly achieved.
Now, to be clear, this is an astounding feat. It requires all ten players to continuously increase their energy levels throughout the stage, clearing content as quickly as possible to defeat like-minded attackers. While others spend their time exploring, working professionally, and discovering the new secrets added in this phase, they are stuck in a 12-hour productive drudgery.
Now that they’ve completed this raid, they can go back and explore a lot. For example, there are a bunch of new class runes that will greatly impact how their classes play, as well as the exciting new PvP Blood Moon event taking place in Stranglethorn Vale. It’s certainly exciting – at least after their well-deserved nap.
What do you think of all this? Let us know below! Personally, I really like the world-first culture in “World of Warcraft”. It does show the extreme lengths some players will go to when trying to make a name for themselves. It’s part of the charm of an MMO, and part of what makes the first week of the new update so great.
