You may know that Animal Crossing: A new light it's out today.
Although many of you may have been hard at work on your island – which is probably the best one right now – Polygon employees think hard about Tom Nook. While his legacy may be overwhelming, he currently puts us all in a deserted island paradise, so it's a good time to pay tribute.
Our tax concept: drawing Tom Nook from memory. (In case you forgot, we did this for poor Sonic the Hedgehog last month.)

“I felt like I was completely blown away by Tom Nook's head and face. I saw clearly his art in my mind; And I knew he had some kind of chubby, round body. When I got to my arms and legs, I felt my vision fade. I was shocked. Does Tom Nook wear shoes? Do you have individual fingers? I've never considered these questions before. When I think of Tom Nook, I think of his silhouette standing, looking at me from a distance, much like a beautiful scarecrow. It is the case of Tom Nook that I know, not his details, because of the authority he holds in all of us. Anyway, that's a reference for Tim and Eric that I put in there. ”
Chelsea Stark
"I thought it was important to show Tom wearing Tom – like Tommy Bahama's shirt, my dad's favorite everywhere. I feel like Tom is preparing for Island time right now, so I wanted to make sure he wore it."
Nicole Carpenter
“I've seen this on Twitter about visualizing an apple. This Tom Nook activity has helped me to see something: I can't quite see the apple. Or Tom Nook. I can & # 39; t see & # 39; texture and colors, but not details. So, oh, that explains my picture of Tom Nook. Still upset that I can't remember that sweat shirt and not a perspiration. ”

“Things I can count on but can't say with 100% authority: Tom Nook is a raccoon. Things I can trust to say with 100% authority: The characters at Animal Crossing are Holding Things. Things I'm not sure about and I can't say for any official: Tom Nook carries an umbrella sometimes New Horizons
Chris Plante
“Mr. Plante's art can contain political images, "one of the editorial proponents said in an interview to comment on Nixonia's landlord Animal Crossing," but that doesn't mean his political art. We can confirm that there is nothing political about Mr Plante's drawing of Tom Nook. "

"My original paintings were very detailed, but then again Tommy and Timmy pulled their bundle and Tom Nook piled a lot of debt, like some kind of anti-Santa, but when I look at the drawing it seems a little too much."
Simone de Rochefort
So, the main thing here that will bother me is to forget Tom Nook's face mask. I've wondered all along when I painted why her face looked so strange. And that's why. I get extra points to remember her lil paws though. That's fine.
Someone told me he looked like a mouse from CatDog.

“I started by trying to remember the qualities of Tom Nook, as a playboy Pocket Camp temporary until debt. I came up with these facts for Nokhi: He's a catcher. He has a regular Animal Crossing Pillsbury Doughboy. She's … wearing … clothes? I painted a large triangle of his article before I remembered that he was not one of the sellers selling things. But I returned and followed the small ears. I feel pretty confident in the silhouette body here, and that at least she's wearing normal clothes. After that I stepped in and pulled some plants because the plants are in Animal Crossing. ”

“I'm a little disappointed to forget Tom's bandonic maskit. I also gave her a mouth, which hurt me. I'm sorry. I feel like I've found the source of it, though. Tom Nook is an absolute Guy. I'm also sure that the little Tom Nooks on the island are his children, which makes him a dad, taking off his shoes and socks. ”
Petrana Radulovic
“I forgot how Tom Nook's nose worked. Also, stay inside. ”
Ryan Gilliam
“Ever since I was a kid, I believed that Tom Nook was a creature – a selfishness hidden behind pretty eyes. However New Horizons, I've come to realize that Tom Nook is not a villain, a friend of Tom Nook. So what if he wants my money? He built me a famous house. Maybe it's growing and paying bills, or the current climate of & # 39; yeah man, take that money wherever you can, & # 39; or even how Nook's sweater fits in with his street frame the way my jaws do – but I sympathize with Tom Nook: a misunderstanding, if not chance, leader and community leader. I hope I caught you here for all of you to see. ”
Brian Gilbert
“By mistake I made him very sharp. I always draw people a lot. I promise never to do it again. ”
Julia Lee
“When I close my eyes, my brain is full of the Tom Nook complex Animal Crossing getting me to work, and I'm also trying to sew together the straps while wearing a helmet I can't pull off. ”
Charlie Hall
"I was expecting Tom to appear today, because it's his world now and we all live in it. I've never played Crossing Animals, and I'm scared that it might actually be a religion. be very vests, I think. That, and there's a phone now. This pen is leaking everywhere. "

“We all know that Tom Nook, the chief monk, loves money. And then, how better to portray Tom Nook than in the shoes of the great cartoon master, Scrooge McDuck? Put her where she is, put her among the things she loves! Money, money, money! ”
Russian Frushtick
“Tom Nook loves money more than you do. He is also roaming the Charlie Brown wall during this time. ”
