May 4th may not be an important date in the in-fiction Star Wars calendar, but it has turned an otherwise completely arbitrary date in the spring into the best day of the year to score discounts on movies, games, etc other merch from a galaxy far, far away. We checked out various retailers to find the best deals on Star Wars Lego sets, games, 4K Blu-rays and other cool stuff to celebrate this huge contribution to pop culture.
Star Wars Toy Deals
Build-A-Bear Workshop remains conspicuously Ewok-free, but you can still save up to 30% on plush versions of Wampas, Rancors, and Baby Yoda (aka Grogu). This sale is a great reason to give these adorable creatures a nice home.
Through May 5th, Funko is offering select Star Wars products in a Buy Two, Get One free offer. This sale is perfect for anyone who can’t get enough of the small, squat models. The Lego Group recently unveiled the latest addition to the Lego Star Wars collection Lego TIE Interceptor. This $229.99 set is already available to Lego Insiders, but will be available to the general public starting – you guessed it – May 4th. While the Lego Store doesn’t announce discounts on its Lego Star Wars products in advance, Lego Insiders members can earn four times as many rewards points when purchasing participating sets through May 5th. Of course, you could rewatch every Star Wars movie on Disney Plus. However, if you want a collection of Star Wars films that will make your friends green with envy, you’ll want to get the 4K UHD versions, complete with rich, deep blacks, high-quality HDR and much less digital noise. Each version includes the 4K Blu-ray version of the film as well as a 1080p Blu-ray and a huge collection of bonus features.

Of course, Steam and other online retailers offer discounts on Star Wars games and bundles. Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is currently on sale for $31 on Steam (was $69.99).
