Game Plugins: The Ultimate App for Gaming on Samsung Phones
Samsung Galaxy phones typically include a “Play center“, an application that serves as a multimedia center, but for games, including access to download many titles but, in addition, it also includes some configuration options to improve the gaming experience.
When accessing the Gaming Hub, we can tap the three-dot button in the upper right corner and click on “Game Booster“. In this menu we can optimize the game’s performance, choose whether we want to block notifications during games and even configure the type of format of the screenshots, among other options.
But in addition to the Gaming Hub, Samsung has an app called Game Plugins which provides access to more controls and functions dedicated to games, including see frames per second and CPU load or mobile temperature on the screenimprove game performance, create GIFs of our games, and even get shooting assistance in FPS games.

The first thing we need to do to be able to use this application during our games is download game plugins from Samsung Galaxy Store. We can search for it directly in the virtual store from our mobile phone, or access the following link.
Once installed on our device, we will download all the extensions we want to use. Some highly recommended are:
- Perf Z– Displays device performance information on screen including mobile temperature, CPU load and real-time frames per second
- Game Booster Plus– to customize the performance and graphics quality options of our games
- Shooting aid: to customize the virtual view in action and shooting games (FPS), an aid that can be activated and deactivated whenever you want
- GIF Maker: to create GIFs of the games during our games
Each extension can be enabled or disabled separatelyand configure your own options independently.
Personally, the Perf Z extension is very useful for me to visualize the performance of my mobile, especially when I configure the graphics quality to the maximum in games like Genshin Impact. In this way, I can keep an eye on the CPU load and temperature of my device. Additionally, I can also use extensions like priority mode so that notifications or background activity don’t interrupt my games.
The idea of Game Plugins is that it offers us a series of tools that we can take advantage of when we need them. If we install the shot assist extension, for example, it will not be active permanently, we will be able to choose when to use it and when not. The same happens with the extension to visualize the performance of our mobile phones, and the tool to customize the performance and the graphics section can be very useful to give more fluidity to a game that does not work perfectly on our device.
Game Plugins is an application that I consider almost indispensable for mobile gamers, especially if they like more demanding titles and sharing images and GIFs of their games with friends and on social networks.
