Finally now Twitter is introducing this new functionality in its application. Twitter ha officially announced on his blog its introduction to the general public. They will remain, as on many other platforms such as Snapchat, Instagram or LinkedIn, 24 hours of active viewing, once completed, will disappear.
Twitter initially tested performance in various regions, including Italy, Brazil and South Korea among others. According to Twitter, This functionality allows people to feel more comfortable when using the app because they do not feel pressured to publish something that lasts forever.

You can create Fleet text, respond to tweets, upload photos and videos, or customize your Fleets with different backgrounds and text types. To share Fleet, click the share button for each tweet and select “Share on Fleet”. Then add the text you want or emojis. Stickers and opportunity to broadcast live via Fleets will be available soon.
However, to have more or less privacy with new functionality, there are sections of guidelines we need to know before starting to use it:
- If you have MDs (Direct Messages) open, anyone will be able to respond to your troops
- Fleets will be available to your fans over timeline, in the same way that other platforms already integrate it
- Anyone who can see your profile will be able to see your hosts
