As Ember is located near burnt buildings, and there are a lot of buildings burned in the region than you find, it is actually more difficult to track on Ember than it initially seems.

EMBER is located between the ruins of Kojo and the monuments of the Osaka temple in the Shadows of Creed of Assassin. These are both near the coast, southwest of the Osaka castle in the Izumi Settsu region.
More specifically, Ember is located inside a small compound (marked with a black flag) located next to the southeast bridge leading from the ruins of Kojo to the island which houses the temple of Osaka.
Remember that you can press the button to zoom and concentrate (L2 / LT on the PlayStation and Xbox controllers), to search for a small blue point which indicates to you where is EMBER.
Although you can simply switch to the front entrance to kill Ember, we recommend that you climb the small building on the east side of the compound, then murder EMPER with your blade, either to throw a kunai on the red jars to cause an explosion.
