Allied request is a handgun included in Destiny 2.
Updated with a host of new perks, it’s one of two new Iron Banner weapons for the 2022 Season of Plunder.
Earn from multiple sources during the event, this page will not only explain the recommendations Allied Demand god rolls throughout the game, but also how to get and farm ally demand.

How to Get an Allied Demand Handgun in Destiny 2
As with other Iron Banner weapons, Allied Demand can only be acquired through Iron Banner loot sources. This includes post-game drops, reputation rank packages, and targeted engrams from Lord Saladin in the Tower.
All players receive a free ally request as a reward for reaching rank 4. Acquiring this unlocks the weapon for tuning, which is one of the primary methods of farming this weapon.
By increasing your Iron Banner Rank, you unlock Iron Engrams, one per rank, which can then be targeted in the Saladin Vendor screen for specific weapons and armor pieces.
After acquiring your first allied request as a rank 4 reward, you will be able to acquire more directly from Lost Saladin in exchange for an admittedly steep cost of 1 Iron Engram, 20,000 Glimmer, and 100 Legendary Shards.
Side note: At first, Allied Demand is a kinetic weapon with no elemental damage type – in Saladin’s vendor screen it previews it as Stasis (as shown below). This appears to be a visual bug.
While you can pray to the RNG gods for further Ally Demand drops as post-game rewards, Concentrating Iron Engrams is the best way to farm this weapon.
The season of plunder has arrived! New additions include the Sails of the Shipstealer quest, Treasure Coordinates and Map Fragments, Cryptic Quatrains, and Quicksilver Storm. Meanwhile, there’s the arrival of King’s Fall and weapons such as Doom of Chelchis and Touch of Malice, as well as the return of Allied Demand in Iron Banner this season. Allied Demand God Roll Recommendation
Like just about every legendary weapon in Destiny 2, Allied Demand has random perk rolls – meaning each drop has the potential for different perks, barrels, and magazine traits.
As popular as other handgun picks may be, Allied Demand has a higher than normal aim assist value in comparison, alongside the newly reworked Intrinsic. Stealth Wolf Origin Trait.
This is exclusive to Iron Banner weapons, providing improved radar and moving you away from enemy radars when killing a low health guardian.
With the increased aim assist and unique origin trait, this sidearm has value in the PvP sandbox (Crucible) and is therefore a more versatile and PvE oriented choice (non-competitive modes).
However, Allied Demand features combinations of advantages from both columns that make it flexible as both a PvE and PvP weapon.
Here is our recommended Allied Demand Divine Roll:
- Barrel: Hammer forged carbine
- Magazine : Precise Ammo (PVP) / Added Mag / Flared Magwell
- Advantage 1: Rangefinder (PVP) / Rapid Hit / Subsistence
- Advantage 2: Eye of the Storm (PVP) / Multi-Kill Clip / Frenzy
Since Allied Demand has a lower zoom compared to the competing Drang handgun, it’s only natural for a PvP-focused god roll to focus on range. Iron Reach might have been a good choice for extra range, but the significant drop in stability makes the handgun less accurate.
As such, Rangefinderincreasing the zoom range and magnification, as well as the barrel and mag characteristics of Hammer forged carbine and Precise rounds (both of which increase range by +10 each) are great for a God Roll PvP.
To top it off in the second column of perks, we’ll then show you damage-based perks such as Multi kill clip Where Frenzyboth of which increase weapon damage (the former based on multiple kills, the latter after being in combat for 12 seconds).
Alternatively, you can choose eye of the stormas it has good synergy with Allied Demand’s Skulking Wolf intrinsic origin trait, continuously improving accuracy and handling as you lose health.
On the PvE side, range isn’t as necessary, so trading accurate rounds for Mag in appendix is a good choice if you want a larger magazine size. Either that or flared magwell to increase reload speed and stability.
In terms of perks, the main difference is to focus more on damage and reloads rather than range – Quick hit (precision hits increase reload speed and stability) and Subsistence (kills partially reload weapon) are two great choices for the first perk column.
For the second column of perks, the same previously mentioned damage-based perks work great again and are still good cries when it comes to PVE.
There are a few other perks added in Season of Plunder featured in the second column of perks like Under-Over and Gutshot Straight, but they’re both too situational (the former) or detrimental (the latter) to some of the best aspects. from Allied Demand. like the aiming aid; Under-Over focuses on additional damage against player/combatant shields, while Gutshot Straight reduces target acquisition when increasing body hit damage.
Also, never forget the Masterwork; a random stat boost on one of your weapon stats. This will help you display stats like range or reload speed, helping you finalize that perfect throw even more.
Finally, this handgun, like many semi-automatic primary weapons, can be easier to use when equipped with the Fully automatic renovation mod (automatically unlocked for all players). Although it’s a weapon mod right now, it’s expected to become a new accessibility option starting in Season 19.
Overall, though, there are plenty of perks worth trying out to find what best suits your playstyle and build, but you can’t go wrong with old pets, especially those that increase range, reload speed, or damage.
