How to Get Austringer in Destiny 2
Austringer is one of the opulent weapons and can only be acquired through Leviathan, focusing Umbral Engrams on the Crown of Sorrow and crafting.
Aboard the Leviathan, there are several ways to get your hands on Austringer. Nightmare Containment is a public event, and once completed you can cash in 500 Vestiges of Dread at the Nightmare Harvester for a chance to get an Austringer.
Opulent chests around the Leviathan can also contain Austringer. You will first need to gather an Opulent Key, then locate the Opulent Chests it opens. There’s no guarantee what will drop from the chest, but Austringer is part of his loot pool.
At the Crown of Sorrow – aboard the HELM – you can gain the ability to focus Umbral Engrams in exchange for Opulent Energy. This requires upgrading the Crown of Sorrow, but you can optionally specify the exact weapon you want to receive, making it effective for farming.
Finally, there is DIY. You’ll need to unlock the model by completing five Deep Sight Resonance Austringers first, but this allows you to craft the gun at any time, provided you have the materials.
From there, as you level up, you can choose which perks to equip, allowing you to create your God Scroll deliberately, rather than relying on chance.
The Festival of the Lost 2022 is here! With it comes the arrival of the Mechabre. Elsewhere in Season of Plunder we have the Sails of the Shipstealer quest, Treasure Coordinates and Map Fragments, Cryptic Quatrains, and weapons such as Quicksilver Storm and Taipan 4FR. Meanwhile, there’s the arrival of the King’s Fall and King’s Fall challenges, as well as weapons such as Doom of Chelchis and Touch of Malice. For The Witch Queen, find out how to get Exotics including Dead Messenger and Parasite.
Austringer god roll recommendation in Destiny 2
Austringer owns the to excess original feature. With it, killing while your super meter is full gives a temporary boost to your Strength and Discipline stats.
Austringer’s optimal set of perks, or ‘god roll’, takes advantage of the natural stopping power of hand cannons and emphasizes seizing the initiative with quick, rapid fire to start dating.
here is our Austringer roller recommended in Destiny 2:
- small caliber
- Large caliber cartridges
- Instant Views
- Opening Shot/Frenzy
small caliber has two incredibly important functions for a hand cannon. First, it increases the weapon’s effective range, allowing it to do full damage from further away. Second, it increases stability, decreasing recoil to allow for accurate follow-up shots.
Austringer hits hard by default. Large caliber cartridges add more force to shots. It doesn’t increase damage, but it stuns many enemies in PvE (non-competitive modes) and causes more knockback in PvP, often causing your opponents to miss shots. As a bonus, this perk comes with a small range boost. Not too bad.
Instant Views has a simple function, it increases down sight speed (ADS), but the effect for Austringer is dramatic. Whenever you’re out of hipfire range, the quick transition to ADS lets you aim accurately and fire faster. This gives you a clear advantage in PvP and more control in PvE.
There are two great perk options, depending on your goal. For PvP, Opening shot increases the accuracy and range of your first, significantly tilting the odds in your favor when starting a trade with an opposing Guardian. For PvE, Carnage Grants a buff to damage after a kill, stacking up to three times for substantial lethality.
As usual, once you have your favorite jet, be sure to upgrade it to a Masterwork to give it a stat boost, the ability to generate orbs on multiple kills, and add the option of a kill tracker!
