How to Get BrayTech Osprey in Destiny 2
BrayTech Osprey is a Nightfall Weapon. Initially, it comes exclusively from completing the Nightfall Strike, but only when it’s the featured weapon in the weekly Nightfall rotation.
Completing Nightfall while BrayTech Osprey is up gives you a chance to earn the weapon, but not a guarantee. It all depends on luck with the drop rates. Successful night drops at higher difficulties come with an increased chance of the weapon being rewarded upon completion. Completions on Grandmaster difficulty can also drop an adept version of BratTech Osprey. This will have slightly higher specs and can be equipped with adept mods.
After picking up a BrayTech Osprey the first time, it will be unlocked for targeted decoding. You’ll now be able to spend Glimmer and Legendary Shards to turn a Vanguard Engram into a BrayTech Osprey, giving you a higher chance of getting the perks you want.
Season of the Depths is here alongside the Into the Depths quest. You can also know how to fish! Don’t forget to keep an eye on the rotation schedule for the Lost Sector and King’s Fall challenges!
BrayTech Osprey god roll recommendation in Destiny 2
BrayTech Osprey is less about crowd control and more about killing a target. The perfect BrayTech Osprey, or “god roll,” is all about hitting hard and can work wonders if used in conjunction with an empty subclass.
here is our BrayTech Osprey god roller recommended in Destiny 2:
- Quick Start
- High speed towers
- Cluster bombs
- Frenzy
- Superb recovery
Quick Start has an easy job: increasing speed, which translates directly into impact damage. The extra handling is nice, but it’s all about the damage.
Speaking of velocity, High speed towers! There are actually 2 perks that add +10 to speed, but this comes with an increase in reload speed, allowing you to fire your next rocket faster for even more damage.
The self-charging case wouldn’t be a bad option, but Cluster bombs are too beautiful to be left out. This adds a group of bombs (shock!) after a rocket explodes. Each bomb explodes and deals additional damage. It can help clear clusters, but excels around large targets like bosses, which take damage from the entire cluster.
Frenzy on rockets is wonderful. After you are in combat for 12 seconds, damage will be buffed, maneuverability will be increased, and reload speed will be increased. If you turn on a boss, you will surely have been in battle for that long. Buffs are free!
Superb recovery is one of two selectable original traits. None of the options are exceptional, but Stunning Recovery is excellent in certain situations. With it, stunning a champion will partially refill your magazine, increase recovery, and trigger health regeneration. It’s very situational, but fighting Champions is exactly the kind of situation where it’s nice to have an advantage.
As usual, once you have your favorite jet, be sure to upgrade it to a Masterwork to give it a stat boost, the ability to generate orbs on multiple kills, and add the option of a kill tracker!
