How to get Crowning Duologue in Destiny 2
Crowning Duologue is a Solstice of Heroes weapon. Like other event-specific weaponry, this means it is only available from specific activities and during certain windows.
In this case, you will have to participate in the Bonfire event. This can be cast from a terminal next to Eva Levante in the Tower, or through the Director. In this mode, Guardians will roam an area called the European Ariel Zone, taking out enemies and using special orbs they drop to ignite the titular bonfire. Completing the event rewards each participant with a few random drops, including a chance (but not guaranteed) of Crowning Duologue.
Whether the Rocket Launcher is rewarded is purely a matter of luck. There’s no limit to the number of times you can do the event, so repeating the Bonfire Bash is your only option to earn various weapon rolls. Also note that it is not tied to event specific currencies, having Silver Ash or Leaves does not affect your chances of picking up Crowing Duologue.
Season of the Depths is here alongside the Into the Depths quest. You can also know how to fish! Don’t forget to keep an eye on the rotation schedule for the Lost Sector and King’s Fall challenges!
Crowning Duologue God Scroll Commendation in Destiny 2
Crowning Duologue is a precision frame rocket launcher. This means he excels at accurate shooting, but doesn’t hit hard like aggressive frame throwers. The best, or “god roll,” version of this weapon takes advantage of its ease of use and unique position as a strand-based weapon.
here is our Crowning Duologue god roll recommended in Destiny 2:
- Linear compensator
- black powder
- Demolisher
- Chain reaction (or newborn)
Linear compensator is a sort of “all-purpose” barrel. This increases stability, speed, and blast radius. Stability will mitigate some downsides on other perks, speed increases direct impact damage, and blast radius enlarges the lethal area for AOE damage. It’s a great mix to make it a deadlier weapon against groups of enemies.
black powder further improves the blast radius, which is one of our main goals with this launcher. The stability drop is a small price to pay and is largely negated by the linear compensator stability buff.
Normally we recommend the self-loading case for a launcher, but Demolisher can handle this for you if you use it correctly. This perk instantly recharges you when you throw a grenade and adds energy to the grenade. Shoot, throw, shoot again in a group for explosive fun.
Chain reaction is what most Guardians should use. Finishing hits create additional explosions that match the user’s subclass, dealing more damage to enemies. This is one of the best perks for clearing out a whole swarm of enemies and makes this weapon so fun to use.
Hatchling however deserves an honorable mention when using the Strand subclass. Strand-based builds will feast on the Threadlings that are spawned. These Threadlings not only seek out and damage enemies, but the strand-based damage they do works in conjunction with strand mods and damage buffs, making the whole kit even deadlier.
As usual, once you have your favorite jet, be sure to upgrade it to a Masterpiece to give it a stat boost, the ability to spawn orbs on multiple kills, and to add the option of a kill tracker!
