How to Get Militia Birthright in Destiny 2
The militia birthright is a Nightfall Weapon, and can only be found randomly at the end of a successful Nightfall attack. To make things more difficult, the weapons that can drop at nightfall rotate from week to week, so you’ll want to make sure Militia’s Birthright is featured before trying to farm it.
Once you’ve confirmed that Militia’s Birthright is possible (we recommend checking out blueberries.gg), you should start running Nightfall. You’ll have to rely on luck for the weapon to drop, but you can tip the scales in your favor.
The Nightfall has multiple difficulties, each designed to make the mission harder. A Nightfall weapon drop is rare on Adept difficulty, uncommon on Hero, and common on Legend or Master.
Season of the Seraph is here alongside More Than a Weapon, Seraph Key Codes and Resonate Stems and the addition of Rose in Crucible. You can also complete the Good Boy Protocol secret quest to make a new friend. We also saw a new dungeon, Spire of the Watcher, with a chance of the Hierarchy of Needs dropping at the end. Earlier this year we had the arrival of the King’s Fall and King’s Fall challenges, as well as weapons such as Doom of Chelchis and Touch of Malice. For The Witch Queen, find out how to get Dead Messenger and Parasite.
Militia Birthright Divine Scroll Commendation in Destiny 2
The Militia Birthright is best used as an additional area of effect weapon and excels in PVE against groups of cannon fodder enemies.
A perfect version of Militia’s Birthright, or “god roll”, builds on this situational use, allowing you to quickly switch to a grenade and fire, then immediately switch back to your other weapons.
here is our Recommended Militia Birthright God Scroll in Destiny 2:
- Linear compensator
- Spike Grenades
- Draw quickly
- Self-loading case
Militia’s Birthright is not the type of caster that deals high damage to a single enemy. Instead, it’s area of effect (AOE) damage. Linear compensator increases the blast radius to achieve this effect, and increased speed and stability are good side benefits.
Spike Grenades add a 50% bonus to the initial impact damage of whoever is carried by the thrown grenade. It’s simple and effective for hitting tougher enemies in a group.
Draw quickly allows you to get out and ready your weapon extremely quickly. The goal of this build is to mix up quick grenade throws between shots with your other guns, and it goes a long way towards achieving that.
Self-loading case is the advantage that makes it a divine roll. With it, Militia’s Birthright recharges after being put away for a few seconds. The idea is simple. Fire your other weapons, then switch to this (ideally with Quickdraw) to fire a shot that clears an area, then walk away. After a few seconds, repeat. This can give a Guardian the firepower to clear entire rooms in seconds.
As usual, once you have your favorite jet, be sure to upgrade it to a Masterwork to give it a stat boost, the ability to generate orbs on multiple kills, and add the option of a kill tracker!
