The Drake Aeonblight in Genshin Impact is located under the eastern mountains of Devantaka in Sumeru. Devantaka Mountain is in the southeastern part of the Sumeru Forest Zone, near the chasm.

The entrance to the Aeonblight Drake is near the red challenge totem in the middle of the eastern cliff. So you have to use the Teleport Waypoint to the north, then walk and slide along the cliff until you come across this red marker. The ruined entrance to the Aeonblight Drake’s lair is in the cliff itself.

How to Beat Aeonblight Boss Drake in Genshin Impact

To easily beat Aeonblight Drake boss in Genshin Impact, you need to bring at least one archer in your team. They don’t need to do much damage, you’re just gonna need someone who can shoot the Aeonblight Drake’s glowing circles as it flies. This will cause him to fall to the ground and destroy his elemental resistances.

Be sure to bring an archer and hit the Drake’s yellow circles when he flies.

We brought Fischl equipped with the 4 star Rust bow, but Yoimiya, Ganyu, Tighnari and Yelan are some of the best archers. They aren’t essential, but having them will make it even easier to defeat the Aeonblight Drake.

The other important thing you need to know to defeat the Aeonblight Drake boss easily is that he gain resistance to whatever element you use the most. However, this resistance takes a while to build up, and you’ll break it by using a bow to destroy its lights as it flies.

If you want to be on the safe side, bring at least two party members of different elemental types that deliver decent DPS. We entered with a team of Beidou, Fischl, Nahida and Zhongli, which worked well.

Long story short, to beat the Aeonblight Drake, use your best DPS and under DPS to deal maximum damage to him, then switch to an archer when he’s flying and shoot the light circles. When he falls, his elemental resistance disappears and you can use everything you have to deal as much damage to him as possible. Repeat this process until it is destroyed.
