This week Spotlight hour is all about the Pokemon Fire Cat, making this the perfect time to catch a perfectly lit In Pokemon Go.
While Litten and its evolution Incineroar are quite weak in Pokémon Go, they are still highly regarded Starter Pokémon and easily the best starters of its generation.
Moreover, with the double capture Stardust bonus Running alongside this Spotlight hour, showing up and chasing kittens will be worth it for competitive gaming fans.

Litten 100% perfect IV stats in Pokémon Go
This week’s Spotlight Hour is a great opportunity to catch a Litten with perfect IV stats.
“Perfect” means two things in Pokémon Go, depending on how you plan to use a given Pokémon. First, there’s the 100% Max IV build, which is the 15/15/15 you’re after for your 4* Pokédex, Raids, and Master League. Yet, due to the way CP is calculated using three stats, a perfect Pokémon IV is usually just the best version of itself in the Master League.
Of course, you can’t see a Pokemon’s IV without catching it first, but, with a little research beforehand, you can quickly spot a perfect Litten based on CP alone.
If you’re at level 30 (or higher), you’ll ideally be looking for the following CPs for a perfect 15/15/15 Litten:
The wild CP value aligns with your trainer level until you reach level 30, and since the majority of the player base is now above that level, we’ve kept these values for the sake of it. of simplicity. These values will however be different if you are currently below level 30.
Is Incineroar good in PVP?
As much as we’d like, it’s unfortunately not very good in PVP. It’s not a total loss, but for such a rare typing (Houndour and Houndoom being the only other Fire/Dark options), it’s a shame it doesn’t do better. Maybe an upcoming Community Day event will bring a move or two that will allow him to compete on a par (pawing?).
If you want to try the world’s most angry cat (touch contest, we know), it runs Snarl, Dark Pulse and Fire Blast, which are pretty reasonable moves. Snarl charges quickly and Dark Pulse is there for some spammy STAB damage. Fire Blast, on the other hand, is there when you need to atomize the opponent. It’s a flexible moveset that applies shield pressure.
This brings us to matches. In Great League, you can expect wins against Skarmory, Alolan Ninetails, Walrein, Venusaur, and Trevenant, while losing to Medicham, Galarian Stunfisk, Noctowl, Sableye, and Registeel.
Incineroar fares slightly better in Ultra League, where it still beats Grass-types, with Cresselia and Alolan Ninetails, but now loses to Walrein, with Nidoqueen, Talonflame, Escavalier, and Alolan Muk.
His best performance is actually in the Master League, however, where he features Mewtwo, Solgaleo, Giratina, and Metagross. He loses quite heavily against Garchomp, Gyarados, Lugia, Zacian and Dialga.
The season of rising heroes has arrived! The Let’s Go event is currently underway and it has brought the Let’s GO! quest with her, as well as a new list of Ditto disguises. As you continue your Pokémon Go adventure, be sure to face off against Giovanni, the leaders of Team Go Rocket, or in the new season of Go Battle League. Don’t forget to keep an eye out for Kecleon, or if you’ve purchased it, work on the Masterwork Research: Wish Granted quest. Elsewhere, be sure to use Daily Adventure Incense for the chance to encounter Galarian Articuno, Galarian Zapdos, and Galarian Moltres. This incense can also allow you to encounter other rare Pokémon in Pokémon Go.
Is there a Shiny Litten in Pokémon Go?
No, sorry – it’s a bad month for shining Spotlight Hours and there is no shiny litten in pokemon go.
However, since Spotlight times do not not have an increased shine rate, you don’t miss massively; the odds of you finding a shiny even on an eligible Spotlight hour are still the same as if you found it in the wild. You would simply be more likely to find one because of the number that appears.
What does shiny Litten look like?
As you can see below, the shiny Litten simply replaces black with white. It might not be the most inspired, but it’s certainly an effective gloss, and Litten looks adorable in her snow-white coat. This theme is carried over throughout evolution, with Torracat and Incineroar swapping their black coats for white.

Other tips for this Spotlight hour
Besides trying to catch a Shiny Litten in Pokémon Go, there are a few other great reasons to participate in this week’s Spotlight Hour:
- The best reason is, of course, the double capture Stardust bonus run all the time. This gives you the chance to collect Stardust twice as fast as usual, with each Litten caught giving 200 Stardust instead of the base 100. If the weather in-game is foggy or sunny, this adds an additional 50 Stardust (twice the usual 25), and this stacks with a Star Piece to give a 1.5x multiplier to all Stardust earned. This means that each Weather Boosted Litten caught using a Star Piece will be worth 375 Stardust!
- If you’re a newcomer, this Spotlight Hour is the perfect time to collect enough Litten Candy to fully evolve this Pokemon and enter its evolution, Incineroar, into the Pokédex.
- Thanks to Litten being a Fire-type, catching a group during this Spotlight hour will add progress to your respective catch bonus medal.
Spotlight Hour events are only one hour long – 6-7pm (local time). Next week, we’ll see Popplio take center stage with a double XP grab.
Good luck finding a perfect Litten!
