One of the surprises that the Xbox Game Showcase 2024 left us (even if it was an open secret) was the announcement of Doom: The Dark Ages. This new chapter of the saga comes to us once again from ID Software and its release is scheduled for 2025 at a date yet to be determined.

According to Megumi McGowan’s LinkedIn profileBethesda Publishing Producer, id Software to develop more games at the same time at this very moment. McGowan notes that his roles include carrying out the multiple projects currently underway in the House of Doom.
In this way, it seems clear that id Software is already on its way with its next projects, some of which point out that It could be another earthquake. But what’s really interesting is that he talks about games in the plural, so it seems that the developer already has its next titles in mind, which, for the moment, remain a mystery.
