NACON and Cyanide announce Chef Life: A Restaurant Simulator, another installment in the LIFE series of simulation games developed in cooperation with the renowned MICHELIN Guide.
Combining management and simulation, Chef Life: A Restaurant Simulator immerses fans in the life of managing a restaurant where they must demonstrate both cooking and managerial skills and make the right decisions for their restaurant. The game will be released on October 7, 2022 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.
As self-confessed “foodies”, Cyanide have set themselves the goal of creating the first cooking game that reflects the real life of a restaurant manager and see realism as a central aspect of the game.
In Chef Life, the quality of the ingredients and the dishes as well as the efficient management of the orders must be ensured on the one hand, while on the other hand a critical eye is cast on the budget in order to increase the restaurant’s reputation.
Thanks to the extensive customization options, both the look of your own avatar and that of the restaurant, including the kitchen equipment, can be freely adjusted. This ranges from the decor to the menu design, which offers a selection of around 80 different French and Italian dishes. In addition to the culinary and entrepreneurial skills, the quality of the prepared dishes is what decides the award of a MICHELIN Guide star.
For the first time, the MICHELIN Guide, an internationally recognized gastronomy guide, advised a studio on developing a video game to provide a realistic experience of the challenges of gastronomy.
Chef Life will feature a scoring system that reflects one’s ambitions and abilities. It is therefore important to satisfy even the most demanding guests in order to earn the MICHELIN star and make your own restaurant a “must-visit”.
